ADR 0167: Replies about Linear work belong on the ticket

Status: accepted. Activity awareness follows ADR 0168. Replies to his own posts are routed to the work's owner by ADR 0277.

Context

James reads the result of issue direction on the ticket. Clankie has agency to investigate, work, or hand off within the operator's authorized task. The issue is where a useful response to that direction belongs.

Decision

When Clankie acts on authorized direction about an issue, he records the useful result or action on that issue. He chooses the words and whether to work or delegate. Canned acknowledgments add no evidence.

Webhook activity supplies context, not human authorship or reply approval. Workers and Clankie may share the owner's account. Routine updates and Clankie's own echoes need no response; live awareness is independently controlled by Follow Linear (ADR 0168).
